नई दिल्ली: मुस्लिम नेता और पश्चिम बंगाल अल्पसंख्यक यूनाइटेड काउंसिल के उपाध्यक्ष सैयद शाह आतिफ अली कादरी ने मंगलवार को बॉलिवुड के मशहूर गायक सोनू निगम के द्वारा अजान पर की गई टिप्पणी को लेकर उनके खिलाफ फतवा जारी किया है। 

सोनू निगम को देश से बाहर निकालना चाहिए

कादिरी ने कहा है कि जो कोई भी सोनू निगम को गंजा करेगा और पुराने जूते की माला पहनाएगा उसे 10 लाख रुपए का इनाम दिया जाएगा। कादिरी ने कहा कि गायक (सोनू निगम) ने धर्मनिरपेक्ष भारतीय संविधान का अपमान किया है, जिस कारण उन्हें देश के बाहर निकाल देना चाहिए। सोनू निगम को राष्ट्रद्रोही बताते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि किसी के पास किसी भी अन्य धर्म की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुंचाने का हक नहीं है।

ट्वीट कर टिप्पणी करते हुए सोनू निगम ने फतवे का जवाब भी दे दिया है. सोनू निगम ने जानकारी दी है कि बुधवार को दोपहर बाद दो बजे वे खुद अपना सुर मुंडवाएंगे। उन्होंने इसके लिए प्रेस को भी आमंत्रित कर दिया है। साथ ही कहा है कि सिर मुंडने वाले को 10 लाख देने के लिए मौलवी तैयार रहें।

विद्या बालन की फिल्म ‘बेगम जान’ को भारतीय टिकट खिड़की पर औसत शुरूआत मिली है। पहले दिन इस फिल्म ने 3.94 करोड़ रुपए की कमाई की है।

उत्तर भारत के इलाकों जैसे पंजाब, दिल्ली में फिल्म की हालत खराब है। यहां पर पंजाबी फिल्म 'मंजेबिस्तरे' को लोग ज्यादा देख रहे हैं। देश के बाकि हिस्सों में अंग्रजी फिल्म 'फ्यूरियस 8' ने धूम मचा रखी है।

वैसे इन फिल्मों के आने से पिछले हफ्ते से टाॅकिजों में छाया सूनापन दूर हो गया है। 'ए' सर्टिफिकेट प्राप्त 'बेगम जान' को देखने भी खासी भीड़ सिनेमाघरों में पहले दिन पहुंची। यह तादाद 'नाम शबाना' से ज्यादा महसूस हुई।

सुबह और दोपहर के शो लगभग 20 फीसद भरे रहे। फिल्म को मिले प्रमाणपत्र और जबरदस्त गर्मी के मद्देनजर यह आंकड़ा उत्साह बढ़ाने वाला रहा लेकिन शाम के शो कमजोर हो गए।

'बेगम जान' साल 2015 में आई बांग्ला फिल्म 'राजकहिनी' की हिंदी रीमेक है। फिल्म की कहानी आजादी से पहले हुए बंटवारे पर केंद्रित है।

फिल्म में 11 एक्ट्रेसेस नजर आई हैं जिनमें सबसे ज्यादा जगह विद्या को ही मिली है। फिल्म का निर्देशन श्रीजीत मुखर्जी ने किया है जो कि एक नेशनल अवॉर्ड विनर हैं। बांग्ला में भी यह फिल्म मुखर्जी ने ही निर्देशित की थी। कहानी एक वेश्वयालय के ईर्दगिर्द घूमती है, जिन्हें बंटवारे के बाद अपने घर के अस्तित्व के लिए लड़ना पड़ता है।

चंकी पांडे भी यहां दिखे। खलनायक के रूप में उन्होंने बढ़िया काम किया। रजित कपूर और आशीष विद्यार्थी की जोड़ी पर भी ध्यान अटका रहता है। वीकेंड का कलेक्शन तय कर देगा कि फिल्म कितना लंबा दौड़ने वाली है।

Rishi Kapoor has been talking about enacting his biography Khullam Khulla in a 90-minute show on stage, and now he's revealed the date of his performance. On The Kapil Sharma Show, the veteran actor said that he will be performing on March 16 in Mumbai for which the rehearsals are underway.

Says a source who was present on the sets, "Rishi said that reading the autobiography would be interesting but witnessing a live performance from him will be exciting. He will be enacting interesting bits from book. He added that not everybody puts across whatever they feel in their autobiographies but he has written everything and is feeling free for doing so. His wife Neetu, however, was afraid of what he would write, so she edited it."

Today is November 18, the day Salman Khan announced that he would be getting married. Emraan Hashmi has acted in a number of horror films such as Raaz 2 (2009) and Ek Thi Daayan (2013). In the recent past, horror movies have failed to strike a chord with the audience. However, internationally, the genre seems to be doing well at the box office. Ask the actor why the genre is not as popular in India, and he says, “Fewer horror films are not only being made in India, but also in the West, because not many film-makers dabble with the genre. Horror is not seen as part of popular culture. More drama and comedy films are being made now.”

Emraan adds that not many horror films are nominated in the award categories too. “At the most, they are nominated for the special effects in the film. A horror movie doesn’t make a lasting impact on people who are the custodians [of cinema], or who dictate what cinema is. If I take up a horror film, I will not hope for a best actor 

The Azhar actor takes up horror movies “purely because it is an entertaining genre”. “I watch a lot of horror films, and the reactions you get in the theatre are unlike how people react to other genres. You can see people scream out of fear. The next moment, you will hear people giggling out of embarrassment. It’s an unusual response. I find that interesting,” says Emraan.

Citing a Hollywood example, he says, “The Conjuring series almost achieved a cult status. For a long time, one hadn’t seen a good horror film made in the West. In the ’70s, film-makers helmed movies such as the The Omen (1976) and The Exorcist (1973) that went on to become popular. Then, there was a lull. The Conjuring helped revive the horror genre,” says Emraan.

So physical nudity for me doesn’t compare. I have put a lot more display that is a lot more intimate.”

When asked to react to King Khan’s comments, Ranveer told us, “I have answered that question on Koffee with Karan. You should wait for the episode.” Ranveer will be appearing with Ranbir Kapoor on the popular talk show said that he had a blast shooting with the Tamasha actor.

Post Befikre, Ranveer will move into a period film zone with Padmavati. While Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor have already called working in the film a huge challenge, Ranveer chose not to slot films as easy or difficult.

“I think to each his own. The other day I was hearing Ranbir speak and he was saying that it is more difficult to act in films like Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani or Ae Dil Hai Mushkil where you don’t have a distinctive character and where you have to bring your own personality which is entertaining, engaging and charming enough to add to the character. What you find challenging for perhaps other actors, I will not find it so. It’s a matter of personal preference. For me, I don’t know what is more or less difficult. I am happy and blessed to be working in films that I get to do every day and I do my best. That is what I can do. Sometimes you have very difficult days on easy films and sometimes very easy days on difficult films. So there are too many factors, permutations and combinations.”

The pretty Alia Bhatt feels wearing revealing outfits doesn’t exactly make one look sexy. The actor feels she looks sexy in pyjamas as opposed to a bikini or saree. When asked to choose between the two, the sassy actress said, “Bikini can be sexy because you are showing skin but I don’t think that is necessarily sexy. Saree, I haven’t explored much. I will opt for pyjamas because that is a lot more effortless and easy to wear.”

Alia was speaking at the launch of a special fashion issue of a magazine. Speaking about fashion, Alia said, “I don’t think fashion trends change every day. We are aware of various trends because of social media. Even I don’t know of the many trends that are out there. Being a girl and actress, I love to doll up. I love to dress up. I relate myself to the trends the way they fit me. I don’t go for something just because they are happening trends at that time. I only make that my own if that suits my personality. Making my fashion statement is all about your personality and the person that you are. Following trends blindly doesn’t make you a fashion icon. Alia also clarified that there was no truth to baseless news rumours doing the rounds on social media about Ali Zafar having been replaced in Dear Zindagi. “No one has been replaced. The film will release in full form. We can leave that topic as it has died now,” said Alia.

Actor Anna Kendrick says starring in four Twilight films saved her financially.

The 31-year-old actress played Jessica Stanley in the vampire romance saga for four films and said the movie helped her to pay the bills for that period of time, reported Female First.

“’Twilight’ mostly paid the bills because there were four of them that I got to do. They just kept hiring me. People don’t realise that I get paid to make a movie and then a year goes by and then I promote it for six months.

“I’ve only got the one paycheck, and that was a year and a half ago. So Twilight saved me in the sense that it was this thing that kept going,” Kendrick said.

Amid reports that actor Upasana Singh aka Bua has quit The Kapil Sharma show, her co-star on the show, Kiku Sharda, has said that the cast hasn't seen her on the set for the past two months.

Generally the channel and the production house take the call who will shoot for which episode so, I don’t know what actually transpired but she hasn’t been part of the show,” Kiku told indianexpress.com.

Upasana entered The Kapil Sharma show in July after quitting Krushna Abhishek’s show Comedy Nights Live. Upasana’s character Bua was one of the highlights of Comedy Nights with Kapil while the show aired on Colors. After Kapil and the channel had a fallout, he decided to start his show on Sony, and while other cast members of CWNK like Kiku, Sunil Grover and Sumona Chakravarti joined him in his new venture, Upasna decided to star in its replacement, Comedy Nights Live. She, however, didn’t enjoy her time on the show and quit it to join Kapil’s team.

John Abraham lost his cool and walked out of the sets of 'Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza' two days ago. The actor, who was on the show with Sonakshi Sinha to promote his film 'Force 2', was miffed with the way Krushna Abhishek roasted him.

Krushna tells BT, "John and I have known each other for many years now and he is the only Bollywood actor who called me when my father passed away recently. I am really sad that I upset him." So what exactly irked John? Krushna says, "I was cracking jokes on his earlier films like 'Paap'. That's when he told me that those were his favourite films.

Sometime later, when he refused to shake a leg with Sonakshi and me on stage, I realised that he was upset. He soon walked out and I ran after him, but he left. I want to apologise to him; I haven't slept since the last few days because of this. I specially flew down from my shoot in Kulu Manali because John had agreed to be on the show. I hope he understands and forgives me."

Over a month ago, Tannishtha Chatterjee had expressed disappointment and anger over the racist comments that Krushna had made on the show. Krushna says, "I had apologized then, but it did not bother me. But this has really saddened me because I feel John is one of the most genuine guys in the industry."

The Rock On 2 team has joined hands with various companies to make it easier for audiences to buy tickets for and watch the new Farhan Akhtar film in the wake of Prime Minister Narendra Modi declaring Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes as invalid.

Now that Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes have been declared invalid by Narendra Modi in a bid to counter fake currency and the black money problem, using cash in the next few days has come to have its own set of problems. For one, any person wanting to buy a movie ticket from the counter with a Rs 500 or Rs 1,000 will have to buy them online.

Now, when you buy film tickets online, you cannot help but lose a little money on 'convenience fee'. A lot of people want to avoid that, so they buy tickets straight from the box office.

Well, the Rock On 2 team has found a way to find an easy path around the problem so that people do not have to spend extra money on the film through 'convenience fee' unnecessarily. Teaming up with the PVR cinemas, they have slashed the 'convenience fee' that is otherwise charged when you book film tickets online.

This happens to be a welcome move given that in the next few days, once the banks are open, there will be huge lines to deposit and exchange money and it will take quite some time to get smaller denominations of money.

It remains to be seen how this initiatives work in the favour of Rock On 2's eventual box office gross though.

Apparently, both Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan are miffed with bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchanfor her intimate scenes with Ranbir Kapoor in Karan Johar's latest release 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'.

Infact, that is the reason why they haven't seen their daughter in law's spectacular comeback film yet that has garnered over Rs 165 crore worldwide since its release on October 28.

Industry insiders revealed that Karan Johar had invited both the senior Bachchans for a special screening of the film but they both decided to skip it. Reports also claim that Amitabh and Jaya both avoided watching the film despite a special screening arranged at home post Dhanteras by Aishwarya for her family members.

Meanwhile Aishwarya's husband Abhishek Bachchan too admitted to not having seen the movie yet. When asked at a recent event in Mumbai, he said that he missed the film as he was travelling with his football team. He said he would be seeing the film in the near future and also congratulated Karan Johar and the entire team for the film's success adding that wife Aishwarya looked splendid in the film.

The irony of the statement lies in the fact that the comment was made minutes after Abhishek returned from shooting an episode with Shivaay director, producer and actor Ajay Devgn for a chat show. While Shivaay was up against ADHM for a mega diwali clash this year, Ajay too has openly spoken about his fallout with KJo. Add to that the fact that Abhishek did not promote ADHM on social media at all only seems to suggest that Junior Bachchan was not keen to see his wife play a seductress on the silver screen.
