Deepika Padukone opened up on her alleged rift with Priyanka Chopra and said that nothing has changed.
Just a few days after Priyanka Chopra expressed hope that Deepika Padukone enjoy the same popularity that she does in Bollywood, DP said in an interview to Vogue, "What she wants from her career will be very different from what I want and that needs to be understood and respected."
Priyanka, who is riding high on the recognition and praise she received for her American TV show Quantico, had told Anupama Chopra, "I hope all the actors come see the notoriety and the popularity that I have achieved or reached. I hope that happens to Deepika and Sonam. Today is not about domestic, it's all about entertainment. It's global.
Addressing rumours of a cold war between her and Priyanka over their big Hollywood releases next year, Deepika said, "We have had very different beginnings. I still remember I was in school when she won Miss World! I've known her for many years and nothing has changed."
