Ghaziabad: Renowned social worker Bimla Devi was awarded the prestigious Global Achiever Award at the 7th Global Strategy & Leadership Awards organized by the Newspapers Association of India. The ceremony, held at Chanakya Auditorium, I.T.S School of Management, celebrated Bimla Devi's exceptional contribution to society. Known for her tireless efforts in helping underprivileged communities, she has played a significant role in supporting impoverished girls' marriages and providing social opportunities to the less fortunate. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Algerian Ambassador Dr. Ali Achoui, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and former Lok Sabha MP Shri Tirath Singh Rawat, and Lok Sabha MP of Bengal, Jagannath Sarkar. Special guest Deepak Saini, stand-up comedian and actor, also attended.
