Dehradun, Vivek Sharma : Today, like every year in Gram Sabha Bhauwala, Veer Shaheed Anusuya Prasad Memorial Committee organized a tribute meeting of Martyr Anusuya Prasad (10 Mahar) Mahavir Chakra. State cabinet minister Ganesh Joshi participated as the chief guest on this occasion. Whereas MLA Sahdev Pundir and Vipin Gaur, General Secretary Newspaper Association of India, New Delhi registered their presence as special guests.

On this occasion, Minister Joshi said that the martyrdom of those who died for the country will not be allowed to go in vain. The government is working on a concrete strategy for this.

On this occasion, in the memory of the martyr, the students who got first place in the seventh badminton / volleyball competition were honored, this competition was organized in collaboration with Dolphin College, in which Principal Guru Ram Rai Inter College Bhauwala, Principal Doon Heritage School Bhauwala and Samaj Sevi Ravi Negi Kshitij Associate, Pindar Ghati Sanstha President, Mrs. Chitra Devi, Anil Goud, Mohan Goud, Pradeep Pundir, Rakesh Goud, Shambhu Prasad Chudiyal were present and presented trophy and cash prizes to the winners. Apart from this, Veer Nari Chitra Devi, wife of late Anusuya Prasad, Mahavir Chakra winner and Vinita Bisht, wife of late Gajendra Bisht, Ashok Chakra winner, were also present in the meeting.

The general secretary of NAI made various demands

Vipin Gaur, General Secretary, Newspaper Association of India, New Delhi, who arrived as a chief guest at the tribute meeting, in his address demanded from the state government that like the soldiers associated with the army, it is very important to give martyr status to the para military soldiers after their martyrdom. It is necessary because they also have an important role in the security of the country, apart from this, they have demanded that if any family member is martyred in Uttarakhand, then a person from his family should be given a government job by the state government according to his qualification. The government will have to take an appropriate decision regarding this.
