PATNA: CM Nitish Kumar hit back at his
archrival and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and said one who lives in glasshouse
should not hurl stones at others. "Khisiyani billi khamba noche
(embarrassed cat scratches a pillar)," Nitish said on his return from
Delhi on Wednesday.
"He (Lalu) is accusing others of putting his house on fire but the fact is that his house is burning because of short-circuit. He is facing bad days and beating his chest in frustration and demonstrating against me in VVIP area," he said, hinting that action would be taken against those who indulged in stone throwing at Speaker's residence.
"Persons known for breaking other parties has no morality to accuse others of breaking his party. It will be better if he keeps his house in order, instead of hurling allegations against others," he said.
Nitish said the Speaker's authority could not be undermined. They broke law, targeted Speaker, hurled stones at his house only to exert pressure on him. But it will not help Lalu because his own men were revolting against him, the CM said and added that those who would come to JD (U) on their own would be welcomed.
